The Herb Group is a practitioner only liquid herbal dispensary based in Australia which allows you to prescribe liquid herb medicine to your clients without stocking a dispensary.

The benefits to you are:

  • No need to stock and store liquid herbs
  • No discarding of expired stock
  • Save money by not having to have the expense of setting up a dispensary
  • Be competitive in industry with your clients having access to tailored herbal mixtures
  • Access to a wide range of herbs

How does it work?

  1. Firstly, you will need to register for a free account
  2. Once access has been approved you can log in to your account and get started
  3. Select the herbal mixture size you desire
  4. Upload your client’s script - please ensure its filled out accurately including correct formulation calculations and patient details
  5. At checkout, fill in your clients name and postal information into the shipping field as this is where we'll be shipping the order to, and your clinic address in the billing address section.
  6. Complete the payment
  7. Order mixed and dispatched!

What can I order?
There are 4 herbal formula sizes 50ml, 100ml, 200ml or 500ml bottle of herbs*, all made to your prescription. These are all shipped daily via Express Post to anywhere in Australia.

*Each herb mixture will be sent with a measure cup for your client’s use. 

What does it cost?
We have worked hard at keeping costs down to make the online dispensary convenient and profitable for you.

We recommend that you set your RRP for 100ml, 200ml and 500ml herb bottles at 30% higher than ours but it is ultimately up to you what you would like to charge your patients. A suggested pricing guide is below.

We ship all our orders via Express Post. Cost is dependent on the size and quantity of your order.

Charge your client your RRP then purchase the herbs for them online. We send the receipt directly to you. You will earn the profit from each order.

How long does it take my patient to receive the herbal medicine?

Orders placed before 12pm (business days) will be dispatched the same day. We understand your patients need their herbs as soon as possible, which is why we ship all orders using Express Post via Australia Post.

You as the practitioner will receive the tracking number to your email address once it has been dispatched by our team. We suggest forwarding the tracking number to your patient so they can continue to track the delivery.

Please be mindful that once your order leaves our hands it is then the complete responsibility of Australia Post. Delivery time frames and issues arising once it leaves our hands is out of our control. If you have any issues please contact Australia Post directly here.

Who makes up my herbal prescriptions?
We have a team of accredited Naturopath's who dispense the herbs with care and accuracy. We never change prescriptions or substitute herbs. You will be contacted via email if we have a problem with your script i.e. herb out of stock or incorrect calculation on your script.

What brand of liquid herbs do you use?
The dispensary is made up primarily of MediHerb liquids. However, there are some herbs from Optimal Rx and Oborne. See the section ‘Herb List’ for a comprehensive list of herbs we stock.

If there is a herb we do not stock that you would like please contact us.

We use MediHerb labels on all orders, if you would like to use your own branded stickers you're welcome to send us a supply for us to use.

Can I have an account if I am a Naturopath or Herbalist student?
Yes, If you are studying Naturopathy or Herbalism and are in your final year you can still create a free account - just upload a copy of your transcript when registering.

I am having issues selecting the shipping address upon checkout

If you cannot select or enter the correct shipping details for yourself or your patient when checking out of our store, try the following:

  1. Our store only allows a maximum of 5 addresses saved to your account. When in the checkout cart select the 3 dots next to each address line to either; edit an existing address or remove an address.
  2. To add a new address ensure there is no more than 4 addresses currently saved. 
  3. Enter in new address and continue with checkout

Statement of Confidentiality
The Herb Group has a strict policy on patient confidentiality. All patient information and scripts are kept confidential and your client’s will never be contacted directly by the Herb Group. Any communications that may need to be made to client’s will be done so via you as the practitioner.  

Terms and Conditions
The Herb Group does not take responsibility for any contraindications, interactions or adverse effects of herb mixes to clients. This is the practitioner’s responsibility to ensure the herbs prescribed are suitable for the client - our responsibility is to make up the mix according to your specifications. Once the product has left our hands, it is then the complete responsibility of Australia Post and yourself.
